The Tabernacle Prayer Method
(Inspired by the Tabernacle of Moses – Exodus 25–30)
Outer Court – Thanksgiving and PraiseEnter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. (Psalm 100:4 KJV)
Thank God for who He is and what He’s done.
Praise Him for His goodness, mercy, and faithfulness.
Brazen Altar – The Cross of Jesus(Symbol of sacrifice and atonement)
Thank Jesus for the finished work on the cross.
Confess your sins and receive His forgiveness.
Reflect on the power of the blood of Jesus.
Laver – Personal Cleansing and Preparation(Symbol of sanctification and the Word)
Ask God to purify your heart and renew your mind.
Read or meditate on scripture for spiritual cleansing.
Pray for alignment with God’s Word and will.
Golden Candlestick – The Holy Spirit(Symbol of light and guidance)
Invite the Holy Spirit to lead and fill you.
Ask for wisdom, insight, and spiritual gifts.
Pray for His light to shine in your life and decisions.
Table of Showbread – The Word and Daily Provision(Symbol of God’s Word and sustenance)
Feed on the Word of God—read and reflect on scripture.
Pray for your daily needs and provision.
Thank God for His promises and truth.
Altar of Incense – Worship and Intercession(Symbol of prayer and worship rising to God)
Offer worship from your heart—sing, pray, or speak adoration.
Intercede for others (family, church, leaders, nations).
Pray in the Spirit if you are able.
Holy of Holies – Intimacy and God’s Presence(Where the Ark of the Covenant was – God’s glory dwelt here)
Spend time resting in God’s presence.
Listen for His voice—be still and receive.
Declare His promises and align yourself with His purpose.
