✨ Sunday Craft of the Day

🕯️ DIY Prayer & Gratitude Lantern

Good morning, sweet friends! 💜

Sundays are a wonderful time to slow down, reflect on God's goodness, and prepare our hearts for a new week. Today's craft is simple, beautiful, and filled with meaning.

Let's create a Prayer & Gratitude Lantern that can become a special reminder to pause, pray, and count our blessings.

🧺 What You'll Need

🫙 A Mason jar or thrifted lantern

🕯️ A battery-operated candle

🎀 Ribbon, lace, or twine

🌿 Greenery or small flowers

📜 Small pieces of paper

🖊️ A pen or marker

🏷️ Gift tags or cardstock

✨ Decorative embellishments

🌿 Step 1 – Prepare Your Lantern

Clean your jar or lantern and remove any labels.

Tie ribbon or twine around the top, then add greenery, flowers, or any decorations that make you smile.

🙏 Step 2 – Write Down Your Blessings

Cut several small pieces of paper.

Write down:

❤️ A prayer request

🌻 Something you're thankful for

🙏 A Bible verse

😊 An answered prayer

💜 Someone you want to encourage

Fold each note and place it inside the lantern.

🕯️ Step 3 – Add a Soft Light

Place a battery-operated candle inside your lantern.

As the light shines through the glass, let it remind you of God's faithfulness and His presence in your life.

✨ Step 4 – Make It a Family Tradition

Invite everyone in your family to add a gratitude note.

At the end of the month, gather together and read each blessing aloud.

You'll be amazed at all the ways God has been working in your lives.

🌸 Beautiful Ways to Display Your Lantern

🏡 Entryway

📚 Bookshelf

☕ Coffee table

🌿 Prayer corner

🛏️ Bedside table

💜 Today's Inspiration

The most meaningful decorations in our homes are often the ones that tell our story.

Every prayer written, every blessing remembered, and every light that shines reminds us that God is always at work, even in the ordinary moments.

"Ye are the light of the world."

— Matthew 5:14 (KJV)

🌻 Question of the Day

If you created a Prayer & Gratitude Lantern today, what would you place inside first?

🙏 A prayer request

❤️ A note of gratitude

📖 A favorite Bible verse

😊 A precious memory

💜 A word of encouragement

Happy Sunday, friends! May your home be filled with creativity, your heart with gratitude, and your week with the light of God's love. 🕯️🌿💜
