🫘 Pinto Bean, Bacon & Onion Camp Pot

A simple, slow-simmered bean dish — deeply satisfying.

Ingredients (Serves 6):

  • 2 cups dried pinto beans (soaked) or 2 cans

  • 4 slices bacon, chopped

  • 1 onion, diced

  • 4–5 cups water or broth

  • Black pepper

Instructions:Cook bacon and onion. Add beans and liquid. Simmer 1½ hours (or 40 minutes for canned).
