God Is Present in the Waiting
Theme:Ā Trusting God Through Long Seasons
Scripture:āAnd the Lord was with Josephā¦āā Genesis 39:2 (KJV)
Reflection:Josephās life moved from promise to prison with little explanation in between. Betrayed, sold, and falsely accused, he found himself in a long season of waiting. Yet Scripture repeatedly reminds us of one powerful truth: the Lord was with Joseph.
Waiting seasons can feel silent and lonely. We may wonder if God sees us or remembers the dreams He once placed in our hearts. But Godās presence is not dependent on our circumstances. He is just as present in the waiting as He is in the fulfillment.
God uses waiting to shape character, deepen faith, and prepare us for what lies ahead. What feels like delay is often divine development.
If you find yourself waiting todayāfor answers, healing, direction, or breakthroughātake heart. God is with you, and He is working even when nothing seems to be changing.
Meditation:Pause and reflect:What am I waiting on God for right now?Invite Him into that season with trust.
Prayer:Father, thank You for being with me in seasons of waiting. Help me trust You when progress feels slow and answers feel far away. Strengthen my faith, grow my patience, and remind me that You are always at work. In Jesusā name, Amen. š

God Never Leaves Us Forgotten
Theme:Ā Remembered by God, Even in Silence
Scripture:āBut the Lord was with Joseph, and shewed him mercyā¦āā Genesis 39:21 (KJV)
Reflection:Joseph was forgotten by peopleābut he was never forgotten by God. Even in prison, Godās favor rested on him. Mercy followed him. Godās presence never departed.
There are times when others forget us, overlook our efforts, or fail to follow through. Those moments can wound deeply. Yet this devotional reminds us that God never forgets His children.
Godās silence does not mean His absence.Godās timing does not mean His neglect.
Sunday invites us to rest in this truth: God sees us fully, knows us deeply, and remembers every promise He has spoken over our lives.
Meditation:Whisper quietly:āGod remembers me.āLet peace settle into your heart.
Prayer:Heavenly Father, thank You for never forgetting me. When I feel overlooked or discouraged, remind me that Your mercy and presence are always with me. Help me rest in You today and trust that You are working all things according to Your perfect plan. In Jesusā name, Amen. š
