✍️ Writer’s Daily Devotional – October 9, 2025Theme: Following Your Calling to Write Title: Faith in the Process Scripture: “For we walk by faith, not by sight.”—2 Corinthians 5:7 (KJV)
Devotional: Every writer knows the tension between vision and reality. You can see the finished story or message in your heart, but the process of getting there feels slow, uncertain, and sometimes frustrating. Yet this is where faith steps in.
Walking by faith means trusting that God is working even when the words seem tangled, the inspiration feels distant, or the progress is hidden. Every draft, every edit, every moment of waiting is part of His divine process.
God doesn’t waste your waiting—He shapes you through it. The same hand that inspired your calling will also perfect your words in His timing. Trust Him not only for the destination but for every step of the journey.
Write today in faith, not fear. You may not see the full picture yet, but the Author of your story does.
Reflection Prompt: What part of your writing journey requires faith right now? How can you trust God more fully in that process?
Prayer: Lord, thank You for calling me to write. Help me to walk by faith, trusting that You are working in every step of the process. Strengthen me to write with confidence, knowing that You are the true Author of all I create. In Jesus’ name, amen.
