📖 A Thankful Heart – 30 Days of Gratitude Before God Day 15 – November 15th: Thankful for God’s Strength
🕊️ Key Scripture (KJV):“The Lord is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.”— Psalm 118:14
📚 Devotional Thought:Today, I am thankful for God’s strength—the strength that carries us when we feel weak, lifts us when we feel weary, and empowers us when life feels overwhelming.
There are days when our own strength simply isn’t enough. Our minds feel tired, our hearts feel heavy, and our bodies feel worn down. But it’s in those very moments that God steps in and shows us that His strength is perfect, everlasting, and more than enough for every need.
God’s strength is not like human strength. Ours fades with time, but His never does. His strength doesn’t depend on circumstances, energy, or emotions—it flows from His unchanging character. When we lean on Him, we find a supernatural endurance we couldn’t find anywhere else.
Think of all the times you didn’t know how you would make it, but you did. That wasn’t luck or coincidence—that was God’s strength holding you, supporting you, and pushing you forward when you thought you couldn’t take another step.
His Word reminds us that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13). That strength is emotional, physical, spiritual, and mental. It gives courage where there was fear, peace where there was anxiety, and power where there was weakness.
Today, thank God for being your strength—not just in the big battles, but in the small daily struggles too. His strength is your steady anchor, your firm foundation, and your reason to keep going.
🙏 Prayer Prompt:Lord, thank You for being my strength when I feel weak. Thank You for holding me up, carrying me through difficult seasons, and giving me endurance for each day. Help me to lean on Your power and not my own, trusting that Your strength will always be enough for me.
✍️ Reflection Questions:• When has God strengthened me during a difficult season?• What area of my life do I need to rely more on God’s strength instead of my own?• How can I encourage someone else today with the strength God has given me?
