God Still Has More Pages to Write

Scripture:

Philippians 1:6 (KJV)

"Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:"

Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV)

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."

Psalm 138:8 (KJV)

"The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands."

Have you ever found yourself wondering if your best days are behind you?

Perhaps you look at unfinished manuscripts, unrealized dreams, or opportunities that didn't work out the way you hoped.

Maybe you've thought:

"I should have started sooner."

"I wish I had done more."

"Perhaps it's too late now."

But God does not see your life through the lens of regret.

He sees it through the lens of purpose.

Philippians reminds us that the God who began a good work in you will continue it.

He is not finished.

Not with your life.

Not with your ministry.

Not with your dreams.

And certainly not with your story.

Jeremiah reminds us that God's thoughts toward us are thoughts of peace and hope.

He already knows the ending.

He knows the chapters you have yet to write.

He knows the people who will be encouraged by your testimony.

And He knows the opportunities that are still ahead.

Sometimes we become so focused on what we haven't accomplished that we forget how far God has already brought us.

We forget the lessons learned.

The prayers answered.

The growth that has taken place.

And the ways He has faithfully carried us through every season.

Psalm 138 reminds us that the Lord will perfect the things that concern us.

What He starts, He finishes.

What He promises, He fulfills.

And what He plants, He brings to harvest.

So don't dwell on what might have been.

Don't let regret steal today's opportunities.

And don't believe the lie that you have missed your moment.

As long as God gives you breath, He still has purpose for your life.

He still has stories for you to tell.

He still has lives for you to touch.

And He still has beautiful pages left to write.

Daily Reflection

đź’ś Have I allowed regret to steal my joy?

đź’ś Am I believing that God still has purpose for me?

đź’ś What dreams do I need to place back into His hands?

đź’ś How has God already shown His faithfulness in my journey?

đź’ś What new opportunities might He be preparing?

Prayer:

Father, thank You that You are not finished with me. Thank You for every lesson, every blessing, and every chapter You have already written in my life. Help me to let go of regret and embrace the future with faith and hope. Strengthen me to continue using the gifts You have given me and remind me that Your plans are always good. May my words bring glory to You and encouragement to others. In Jesus' name, Amen.

đź’ś Author Encouragement
