Your Words Can Change Lives

Scripture:

Isaiah 55:11 (KJV)

"So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."

Ephesians 4:29 (KJV)

"Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers."

Proverbs 16:24 (KJV)

"Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones."

Have you ever wondered if your words really matter?

Perhaps you've questioned whether anyone will read your story.

Maybe you've wondered if your testimony will truly make a difference.

Or perhaps you've thought that your efforts are too small to have any lasting impact.

But God sees what you cannot.

He sees the reader who will find hope because of your testimony.

He sees the hurting soul who will be encouraged by a devotion you write.

He sees the person who may come closer to Him because you chose to be faithful with the gift He placed in your hands.

Isaiah reminds us that God's Word never returns void.

And when we surrender our gifts to Him, He can use our words in ways we may never fully understand.

As Christian authors, we are not simply writing stories.

We are planting seeds.

Seeds of hope.

Seeds of encouragement.

Seeds of faith.

Seeds of truth.

And while we may not always see the harvest, God is working behind the scenes.

Never underestimate the power of a kind word.

Never underestimate the power of a testimony.

Never underestimate the power of sharing what God has done in your life.

Someone is waiting for the encouragement you carry.

Someone needs the message God has entrusted to you.

And someone may find hope because you chose to write.

So keep planting seeds.

Keep sharing your story.

And trust God with the harvest.

Because words written with love and faith have the power to change lives.

💜 Have I underestimated the power of my words?

💜 Am I writing with the goal of glorifying God?

💜 What message has God placed on my heart to share?

💜 How can I use my words to minister grace to others?

Prayer:

Father, thank You for entrusting me with gifts, experiences, and words that can point others toward You. Help me to write with humility, compassion, and faith. Remind me that no effort given to You is ever wasted. Use my words to bring hope, healing, and encouragement to those who need it most. May everything I write glorify You and draw others closer to You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
