Lamentations 3:22–23“It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed… they are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”

Hebrews 11:1“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

Philippians 3:13–14“…forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark…”

✍️ Devotional Thought

A new week begins…

And with it comes a beautiful opportunity—to begin again.

Maybe last week didn’t go as planned.

You didn’t write as much as you hoped.You felt distracted.You struggled to find the words.

Or maybe you started strong… but lost momentum along the way.

But here’s the truth:

God is not measuring your journey by one day or one week.

He is looking at your heart.

Lamentations reminds us that His mercies are new every morning.

That means today is not defined by yesterday.

You don’t carry the weight of what didn’t happen.

You step into what can happen now.

Hebrews tells us that faith is believing in what we cannot yet see.

You may not see the finished book yet…You may not see the full impact of your writing…

But God does.

And He is asking you to move forward in faith.

Philippians reminds us to let go of what is behind and press forward.

Not perfectly.Not all at once.But faithfully.

One word.One sentence.One page at a time.

So today…

Pick up your pen again.Open your document again.Return to the vision again.

Not in pressure…but in faith.

Because every time you begin again,you are walking in obedience.

What do I need to release from last week?

What is one step I can take today to move forward?

Am I trusting God with the process, even when I can’t see the outcome?

Father,Thank You for the gift of a new beginning. Help me to release any discouragement from the past and step forward in faith today. Give me clarity, focus, and discipline as I write. Remind me that You are with me in every word and every step.In Jesus’ name, Amen.
