🌿 Tuesday, April 21, 2026✨ Consistency Over Perfection ✨
đź“– Scripture (KJV)
Ecclesiastes 9:10“Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might…”
Luke 16:10“He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much…”
Galatians 6:9“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
✍️ Devotional Thought
One of the biggest struggles writers face…
is the desire to be perfect.
We want the words to sound just right. We want the chapter to be flawless. We want everything to come together beautifully the first time.
And when it doesn’t…
We hesitate.We overthink.We delay.
Sometimes, we don’t write at all.
But perfection is not what God is asking of you.
He is asking for consistency.
Ecclesiastes reminds us to do what is in front of us with all our might.
Not perfectly.Not flawlessly.But faithfully.
Luke tells us that faithfulness in small things leads to greater things.
That means the small, consistent effort you put in today…
Matters more than waiting for the “perfect” moment.
Galatians reminds us not to grow weary.
Because the harvest comes through continued effort, not occasional bursts of perfection.
Writing is not about getting it perfect the first time.
It’s about showing up again and again.
Writing the rough draft.Fixing it later.Trusting the process.
Because every time you choose consistency…
You are moving forward.
One page closer. One chapter closer. One step closer to what God has called you to complete.
So today, let go of perfection.
Write something.
Anything.
And trust God to shape it over time.
🌿 Tuesday Reflection
Am I holding myself back by trying to be perfect?
What small, consistent step can I take today?
How can I focus more on progress than perfection?
🙏 Prayer
Father,Help me to release the pressure of perfection and embrace consistency. Give me the discipline to show up daily and the grace to grow through the process. Remind me that You are shaping my writing over time. Let my efforts be faithful and pleasing to You.In Jesus’ name, Amen.
đź’ś Tuesday Author Encouragement
Progress over perfection.Consistency over hesitation.Faithfulness over fear.
Keep writing—God is working in every word. ✍️📖✨
