🌿 Tuesday, March 17, 2026✨ Keep Writing… Even When It Feels Slow ✨

📖 Scripture (KJV)

Galatians 6:9“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

Ecclesiastes 11:6“In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper…”

2 Timothy 1:7“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

✍️ Devotional Thought

Some days in writing feel full of inspiration.

Words flow easily.Ideas come together beautifully. You feel confident in what God has called you to write.

But then there are other days…

The words feel slow. The page stays blank longer than you expected.Doubt tries to whisper louder than purpose.

These are the days that truly shape a writer.

Galatians reminds us not to grow weary in doing good. Writing what God has placed on your heart is good work — even when it feels small, unnoticed, or incomplete.

Every sentence you write is a seed.

Every paragraph is planted in faith.

And just like a farmer doesn’t see the harvest the same day he plants the seed, you may not immediately see the impact of your writing.

But God sees it.

Ecclesiastes encourages us to keep sowing — morning and evening — because we do not know which seed will prosper. That chapter you struggled through may be the very one that touches someone’s life.

Fear may try to stop you.

Fear of not being good enough.Fear of not finishing.Fear of what others may think.

But 2 Timothy reminds us that fear is not from God.

God has given you power. He has given you love.He has given you a sound mind.

And He has given you a message worth writing.

So today, don’t focus on how fast you’re going.

Focus on being faithful.

Write anyway.Show up anyway.Trust God anyway.

Because slow progress in obedience is still powerful progress.

🌿 Tuesday Reflection

What is one section of my writing I can work on today?

Am I allowing discouragement or fear to slow me down?

How can I stay consistent, even if progress feels small?

🙏 Prayer

Father,Thank You for the calling to write and the message You have placed in my heart. When I feel discouraged or slow, remind me that every word written in obedience matters. Help me not grow weary, but to keep going with faith and trust in You. Remove fear and replace it with confidence, peace, and purpose. Guide my thoughts and strengthen my discipline today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

💜 Tuesday Author Encouragement

Keep writing.Keep planting.Keep trusting.

Even slow steps forward are leading you exactly where God wants you to go. ✍️📖✨
