đ Scripture (KJV)
Exodus 4:12âNow therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.â
Jeremiah 30:2âThus speaketh the LORD God of Israel, saying, Write thee all the words that I have spoken unto thee in a book.â
Proverbs 3:5â6âTrust in the LORD with all thine heart⌠and he shall direct thy paths.â
âď¸ Devotional Thought
There are moments in writing when we pauseâŚ
We stare at the page.We question our words. We wonder if weâre saying the ârightâ thing.
As writers, especially as Christian authors, we can sometimes feel pressure to get every word just right.
But God never asked you to have all the answers.
He simply asked you to be willing.
In Exodus, God tells Moses something so powerfulââI will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.â
That promise still stands for you today.
You are not writing alone.
God is with you in every sentence.Every paragraph.Every page.
Jeremiah reminds us that when God speaks, we are to write it down.
Not perfectly.Not impressively.But faithfully.
Your job is not to force the messageâŚ
Your job is to receive it and release it.
Sometimes the words will come easily.Sometimes they will come slowly.
Sometimes you will feel confident.Sometimes you will feel unsure.
But Proverbs reminds us to trust Him fullyâand He will direct your path.
That includes your writing path.
You donât have to figure out the whole book today.
Just write what God gives you in this moment.
That one thought. That one truth. That one piece of your story.
Because what feels small to youâŚmay be exactly what someone else needs.
đż Tuesday Reflection
Am I trying to control my writing, or surrender it to God?
What has God been placing on my heart lately?
What can I write today in simple obedience?
đ Prayer
Father,Thank You for being with me in every word I write. Help me to trust You more and rely on Your guidance instead of my own understanding. Teach me what to say, how to say it, and when to say it. Let my writing be led by Your Spirit and filled with Your truth. In Jesusâ name, Amen.
đ Tuesday Author Encouragement
You donât have to have all the wordsâŚJust be willing to write the ones God gives you.
He will guide the rest. âď¸đâ¨
