Steward the Gift

šŸ“– Scripture (KJV)

1 Peter 4:10

ā€œAs every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.ā€

2 Timothy 1:6

ā€œWherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in theeā€¦ā€

āœļø Devotional Thought

Writing is more than creativity.

For many of us, it is a calling.

God places gifts inside each of us, and those gifts are meant to serve others. When you write a devotional, a testimony, a story, or a book filled with truth, you are ministering through words.

Your pen becomes a tool in God's hands.

But like any gift, it must be stewarded.

A gift that sits unused grows quiet. A gift that is stirred grows stronger.

Some days you may doubt your ability. Some days the page may feel stubborn and blank. Some days you may wonder if anyone will ever read what you write.

But God did not place this gift in you by accident.

Someone needs your testimony. Someone needs your story. Someone needs the encouragement God placed in your heart.

Today is a reminder to stir up the gift.

Write a paragraph. Edit a page. Outline the next chapter.

Small acts of stewardship build powerful impact over time.

Faithful authors are not those who write perfectly. They are those who keep showing up.

🌿 Reflection

  • Am I stewarding the writing gift God placed in me?

  • What small step can I take today to stir up that gift?

  • How can my words encourage someone else?

šŸ™ Prayer

Father,Thank You for the gifts You place within us. Help me steward the calling to write with faithfulness and humility. Give me discipline when motivation fades and courage when doubt appears. Let my words reflect Your truth and bring encouragement to those who read them.In Jesus’ name, Amen.

šŸ’œ Today’s Author Reminder

Your gift was placed in you for a reason.

Stir it up. Use it well. Write faithfully.
