đź’ś Faithful in the Small Pages
đź“– Scripture (KJV)
Luke 16:10
“He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much…”
Zechariah 4:10
“For who hath despised the day of small things?”
✍️ Devotional Thought
Some writing days feel big.
The words flow easily.Ideas connect.Pages seem to write themselves.
But many writing days feel small.
A paragraph here.A few edits there.A single idea scribbled in a notebook.
It can be easy to think those small steps don’t matter.
But God often builds great things through small beginnings.
The chapter starts with one sentence. The manuscript grows page by page. The message develops word by word.
Faithful authors understand that progress isn’t always dramatic — sometimes it’s simply steady.
Luke reminds us that being faithful in small things prepares us for greater things. And Zechariah reminds us never to despise the day of small beginnings.
Today, your small effort may be:
• Editing one page• Writing one paragraph• Planning your next chapter
But those small steps are seeds.
And seeds grow into books.
Someone, somewhere, may one day read the very words you write today and find encouragement, hope, or healing.
That’s why small pages matter.
Keep showing up.Keep writing faithfully.Keep trusting God with the impact.
🌿 Reflection
Am I undervaluing the small progress I make in my writing?
What small step can I take today that moves my book forward?
How can I remain faithful even when progress feels slow?
🙏 Prayer
Father,Help me remain faithful in the small steps of my writing journey. Give me patience when progress feels slow and wisdom as I steward the gift of words. Use even the smallest pages to encourage and bless someone who reads them.In Jesus’ name, Amen.
