For Monday, October 19, we're beginning a new week in our Fruit of the Spirit series with FAITH — Trusting God Beyond What You Can See. 💜 This lesson reminds us that faith isn't having all the answers. It's trusting the Lord even when the road ahead is uncertain.

🌿 FAITH — TRUSTING GOD BEYOND WHAT YOU CAN SEE

Walking With Jesus When the Road Ahead Is Uncertain

October Theme: The Fruit of the Spirit

📖 TODAY'S SCRIPTURE

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”Hebrews 11:1 (KJV)

☕ Good morning & Happy Monday, Bible Study Family! 💜

God is so, so good!

As we begin another week, we're continuing our study of the Fruit of the Spirit.

So far, we've studied love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, and goodness.

Today we come to another beautiful quality:

❤️ FAITH.

Have you ever found yourself praying about something and wondering how God was going to work it all out?

Maybe you're facing a decision.

Maybe you're waiting for an answer.

Maybe you're walking through a season you never expected.

Or perhaps you're trying to understand why something happened that changed your life forever.

Friend, sometimes the hardest part of faith is trusting God when we cannot see what comes next.

But here's something I want us to remember:

Faith isn't knowing what tomorrow holds. It's knowing Who we can trust with tomorrow.

🌻 FAITH DOESN'T REQUIRE ALL THE ANSWERS

Hebrews 11 tells us about men and women who trusted God even when they didn't know how everything would turn out.

Abraham is one beautiful example.

Hebrews 11:8 (KJV) says:

“By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.”

Think about that!

Abraham obeyed God without knowing every detail of the journey.

He didn't have a complete map.

He didn't know every obstacle he would face.

But he trusted the One who was leading him.

Sometimes God doesn't show us the entire road.

Sometimes He simply calls us to take the next faithful step.

We may not know where every turn will lead, but we can keep walking with Jesus.

💜 FAITH DOESN'T MEAN WE NEVER HAVE QUESTIONS

Sometimes Christians feel guilty for admitting they struggle with doubt.

But friend, faith isn't pretending we never feel afraid or uncertain.

Even strong believers have experienced moments of weakness.

In Mark 9:24 (KJV), a father cried out to Jesus:

“Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.”

What an honest prayer!

He believed, but he also recognized that he needed help.

And sometimes that's exactly where we are.

“Lord, I trust You, but I'm struggling.”

“Lord, I believe Your Word, but my heart is hurting.”

“Lord, I know You're faithful, but I don't understand.”

God already knows our hearts.

We don't have to hide our struggles from Him.

We can bring our questions, fears, and uncertainties to Jesus.

🌿 FAITH IS TRUSTING GOD, NOT DEMANDING OUR OWN OUTCOME

This is something important for us to understand.

Having faith doesn't mean every prayer will be answered exactly the way we want.

It doesn't mean we will never experience loss, disappointment, sickness, or hardship.

And it doesn't mean that if something doesn't work out, we simply didn't have enough faith.

Biblical faith is trusting God's character even when the outcome is different from what we hoped.

Daniel's three friends demonstrated this beautifully.

When facing the fiery furnace, they declared that God was able to deliver them.

But they also said:

“But if not…” — Daniel 3:18 (KJV)

Their faith wasn't based on receiving the outcome they wanted.

Their faith was rooted in the God they served.

Friend, that's the kind of faith I want growing in my life.

Faith that trusts God in the blessing and in the battle.

🌻 FAITH GROWS THROUGH OUR DAILY WALK WITH JESUS

Romans 10:17 (KJV) says:

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

If we want our faith to grow, we need to stay connected to God's Word.

Read Scripture.

Spend time in prayer.

Remember His faithfulness.

Worship Him.

Surround yourself with people who encourage your walk with Christ.

And practice trusting Him in the little things.

Sometimes we want mountain-moving faith, but we're neglecting the small daily steps that help us grow.

Faith is strengthened as we continue walking with Jesus, one day at a time.

🙏 TODAY'S PRAYER

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for another beautiful Monday and another opportunity to grow closer to You.

Lord, You know the things I'm facing and the questions I carry.

Sometimes I struggle because I cannot see what lies ahead.

Sometimes fear, worry, or disappointment tries to weaken my trust.

Help me remember that You are faithful even when life is uncertain.

Teach me to trust Your Word instead of depending only on what I can see or understand.

Give me courage to take the next faithful step.

Strengthen my faith when I'm weary.

And when my prayers are answered differently than I hoped, help me continue trusting Your goodness.

Lord, I believe. Help thou mine unbelief.

In Jesus' precious name,

Amen. 💜

🌿 TODAY'S FAITH CHALLENGE

Take a few quiet moments today and ask yourself:

❤️ What situation am I struggling to trust God with?

🌻 What promise or truth from Scripture can help strengthen my faith?

🙏 What is one faithful step I can take today?

Then pray:

“Lord, I may not know what tomorrow holds, but I trust You to guide my steps today.”

💬 QUESTION FOR OUR BIBLE STUDY FAMILY:

Has there been a time when you had to trust God without knowing how things would work out?

If you're comfortable, share what that season taught you about faith. Your testimony may encourage someone who is struggling today. 💜

🌷 TODAY'S REMINDER

Friend, faith doesn't always look like confidently walking forward without fear.

Sometimes faith looks like taking one small step while your hands are trembling.

Sometimes it looks like praying through tears.

Sometimes it looks like waiting when you want to run ahead.

And sometimes it looks like saying:

“Lord, I don't understand, but I'm still trusting You.”

Remember, we serve a God who sees what we cannot see.

He knows the road ahead.

He understands the burdens we carry.

And He promises to be with His children.

🌿 WALK BY FAITH, NOT BY SIGHT.

💜 TRUST GOD EVEN WHEN YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND.

❤️ KEEP YOUR EYES ON JESUS.

Because faith isn't about having every answer.

It's about trusting the One who does.

Have a beautifully blessed Monday, Bible Study Family! 💜✝️
