📜 On This Day in History

• 1776 – The Liberty Bell rang for the first public reading of the Declaration of Independence in Philadelphia, marking the true spread of liberty’s cry. Though the bell bears a crack, its message still echoes: “Proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof” (Leviticus 25:10).

Today, God may not call you to ring a liberty bell or pen a declaration, but He may call you to declare freedom to someone held captive by fear, sorrow, or shame.
