✨ Agape Love Blog – July 8, 2025 ✨

Updated: Jul 14

Walking in His Love Through Every Season

Good morning, family in Christ!

As we begin this beautiful July day, let us pause and reflect on the faithfulness of God—how He carries us through the seasons, teaches us through history, and unites us through faith and love. Here at Agape Love Ministry, we believe every day is a gift, filled with purpose and divine opportunity. Let’s explore what makes today special through the lenses of history, heritage, and heaven.

📜 On This Day in History

  • 1776 – The Liberty Bell rang for the first public reading of the Declaration of Independence in Philadelphia, marking the true spread of liberty’s cry. Though the bell bears a crack, its message still echoes: “Proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof” (Leviticus 25:10).

  • 1889 – The Wall Street Journal published its first issue. From financial markets to ministry budgets, stewardship continues to matter!

  • 1951 – Paris celebrated the premiere of An American in Paris, a reminder of how art and culture uplift during seasons of rebuilding.

🇺🇸 National Holidays – July 8

  • National Video Game Day – A fun reminder that even play can connect generations and create shared moments. Whether you’re a fan of classic games or the new digital adventures, today’s a great day to unwind with some joyful fun!

  • National Chocolate with Almonds Day – A sweet little treat to savor. It’s okay to enjoy a blessing from the Lord’s bountiful table—even a chocolate one. 😊

✝️ Christian Reflections

While today isn't tied to a widely recognized Christian holiday, it’s still a holy day in the life of every believer.

Every new sunrise is a reminder of resurrection power. Let us consider this verse:

“This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”Psalm 118:24 (KJV)

Today, God may not call you to ring a liberty bell or pen a declaration, but He may call you to declare freedom to someone held captive by fear, sorrow, or shame. Maybe it’s a kind word, a silent prayer, or a phone call to someone who needs to know they’re not alone. That, dear friends, is Agape love in motion.

🕊️ Agape Thought for Today

Broken bells still ring. Cracked vessels still pour. Flawed hearts still love.God doesn’t need your perfection—He desires your willingness. If you woke up today feeling less than enough, remember this: You are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves you (Romans 8:37).

🙏 Let’s Pray Together:

Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of today. Let us honor You in all we do, and may we reflect Your love to every soul we encounter. Whether in sweet conversation or quiet reflection, let Your Spirit guide our steps and open our hearts. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Whatever today holds for you—may you walk boldly, love deeply, and live intentionally. You are part of His story. You are woven into His heritage. You are the hands and feet of Agape love.

Blessings always,Sarah M. SkaggsAgape Love Ministry 🌺"Faith. Family. Forever."
