Agape Love Blog – Saturday, October 11, 2025 Resting in God’s Presence

Good morning, beloved! 💜

As we enter this peaceful Saturday, it’s the perfect time to slow down and rest—not just physically, but spiritually. Life moves so quickly that we often forget to simply be still and let God speak to our hearts. Yet in those quiet moments, He restores our souls, renews our minds, and reminds us that His presence is the greatest source of peace we’ll ever find.

✝️ Verse of the Day“Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.”Psalm 46:10 (KJV)

Stillness is not inactivity—it’s trust. When we stop striving and start resting in His power, we realize that He is in control of every detail.

The more we rest in God, the more we recognize His presence in everything.

Saturday Reflection: Stillness that Strengthens

God doesn’t just call us to work for Him—He calls us to rest in Him. Rest is not laziness; it’s renewal. When we pause and quiet our hearts, we make space for His peace to take root and grow.

Resting in God is an act of worship—it says, “I trust You, Lord.”

Saturday Prayer:Lord, thank You for the gift of stillness and rest. Help me to quiet my thoughts and listen for Your voice today. Refresh my soul, renew my spirit, and fill me with peace that only You can give. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today’s Challenge:Take a few moments today to sit in silence with God—no distractions, no phone, just His presence. Let Him refresh your heart.

May your Saturday be filled with calm, peace, and the sweet assurance that God is right beside you.

With peace and gratitude,Sarah M. SkaggsAgape Love Ministry“Stillness before God is where strength is born.”
