Theme: Faithful in the Waiting Scripture:“The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.” — Lamentations 3:25 (KJV)
The Christmas story is filled with waiting. Mary waited in obedience. Joseph waited in trust. Israel waited for a Savior.
And as an author, you understand waiting too — waiting for the right words, the right timing, the right clarity, or the right season to share what God has placed on your heart. Today, God reminds you that waiting is not wasted time when it’s spent with Him.
Waiting refines your heart.Waiting deepens your faith.Waiting prepares your message.
God often does His greatest work in the unseen spaces — where patience is formed and trust is strengthened. Even when your writing feels slow or paused, He is still moving, still shaping, still preparing what will be revealed in His perfect time.
You don’t have to rush the process. The same God who fulfilled His promise through a baby in a manger is faithful to fulfill His purpose through you. Stay close. Keep seeking. Keep trusting.
Faithful waiting always leads to holy fulfillment.
Reflection Prayer:
Lord, help me trust You in the waiting. When my writing feels slow or uncertain, remind me that You are still at work. Strengthen my faith, calm my heart, and guide my words in Your perfect timing. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Today’s Challenge: Write a short reflection today about something you are waiting on — in your writing or your life. Offer that waiting to God, trusting Him with both the process and the outcome.
