✍️ Author Devotional – December 19, 2025

Theme: Faithful to Carry the MessageScripture:“And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word.” — Luke 1:38 (KJV)

Mary didn’t fully understand how God’s plan would unfold — but she trusted the One who spoke the word. With humility and faith, she accepted the message God placed within her and carried it faithfully, even when the road ahead was uncertain.

As an author, you are also a carrier of a message. God places ideas, stories, truths, and encouragement in your heart — not all at once, and not always with full clarity. Sometimes He simply asks for your yes.

Faithful writing begins with surrender:“Lord, let it be according to Your word.”

You may not know who will read what you write.You may not see the full impact right away.You may feel unqualified or unsure at times.

But God does not ask you to explain the miracle — only to carry it. When you write in obedience, He does the multiplying. Your role is faithfulness; His role is fulfillment.

This Christmas season, let your writing echo Mary’s trust. Carry the message God has given you with grace, humility, and confidence in Him. What He places in you is sacred — and He will bring it to completion.

Reflection Prayer:

Lord, I offer myself to You today. Help me carry the message You have placed in my heart with faith and obedience. Guide my words, strengthen my spirit, and let everything I write be according to Your will. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today’s Challenge:Write one paragraph today as an act of surrender — not worrying about the outcome, only trusting God with the message He has given you. Let your words be a quiet “yes” to Him.
