✍️ Author Devotional – December 23, 2025

Theme: Trusting God in the Silence Before the MiracleScripture:“The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.” — Exodus 14:14 (KJV)

The day before Christmas Eve carries a special kind of stillness. The preparations are nearly complete. The waiting is almost over. And yet, there is a hush — a pause — before the miracle fully unfolds.

In Scripture, God often works powerfully in moments of quiet trust. Before the Red Sea parted. Before the walls of Jericho fell. Before the Savior was born. Silence did not mean inactivity — it meant God was moving.

As an author, you may feel this silence too. A moment where words slow down, where anticipation hangs in the air, where you’re not sure what comes next. Today, God reminds you that you don’t have to fill the silence. You can rest in it.

Sometimes the most faithful thing you can do is trust — trusting God with the message, the timing, the impact, and the outcome. Your writing does not have to strive today. It can simply wait in confidence, knowing that God is about to do something beautiful.

The miracle is near. The promise is sure. The silence is holy.

Reflection Prayer:

Lord, help me trust You in the quiet moments. When words are few and waiting feels long, remind me that You are still at work. Let my heart be at peace, my spirit be steady, and my trust be anchored in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today’s Challenge: Write one quiet reflection today — something simple, gentle, and unhurried. Let it come from trust, not urgency.
