✍️ Author Devotional – February 1, 2026Theme: Begin This Month With Trust

Begin This Month With Trust Scripture: “Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” — Psalm 37:5 (KJV)

A new month opens like a fresh chapter — not demanding perfection, only trust. February doesn’t ask you to rush or prove anything. It invites you to place what you’re writing, dreaming, and carrying straight into God’s hands and walk forward with Him.

You may be continuing a project. You may be restarting something you set aside. You may be unsure where the words are leading.

That’s okay. God doesn’t require certainty to begin — He asks for surrender. When you commit your way to Him, He promises to bring it to pass in His timing and by His power. Your responsibility is obedience; His is outcome.

Let this month begin gently. Write with intention, not pressure. Pray before you plan. Trust before you strive. God is already present in this chapter, ready to guide every line and every pause.

February is not about doing more — it’s about walking closer. And when you walk closely with God, your words will follow His lead.

Reflection Prayer:

Lord, I commit this month, my writing, and my heart to You. Help me trust You with every step and every word. Guide my thoughts, steady my pace, and bring to pass what You desire through this work. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today’s Gentle Invitation: Begin February by writing a simple prayer of trust. Offer the month ahead to God — then write knowing He is faithful to lead you forward.
