Theme: God Gives the Words in Due Time Scripture: “A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.” — Proverbs 16:9 (KJV)
By the seventh day of the year, many writers begin to feel a quiet tension — the desire to move forward paired with uncertainty about how. Today, God gently reminds you that direction does not come from striving; it comes from trusting.
You may have ideas without order. You may have passion without clarity. You may have started without knowing where it will lead.
And that’s okay. God has never required His writers to map the whole journey. He promises to direct the steps, not reveal the entire road. When you show up faithfully — pen in hand, heart open — He guides the flow, the timing, and the message.
Some days, the words come easily.Other days, they arrive slowly — one thought at a time. Both are led by God.
If today feels uncertain, take comfort in this truth: God is not late with inspiration. He gives words in due time, right when they are needed. Your responsibility is obedience; His responsibility is direction.
So don’t rush the process.Don’t doubt the calling.Don’t silence yourself because clarity hasn’t fully formed.
Write what you have.Trust Who is guiding you.
Reflection Prayer:
Lord, I trust You to direct my steps. When clarity feels incomplete, help me remain faithful. Guide my words, steady my heart, and give me patience to wait on Your timing. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Today’s Gentle Invitation:Write without worrying where it leads. Simply write what God places on your heart today — trusting Him to direct the next step when the time is right.
