✍️ Author Devotional – November 15, 2025Theme: When God Gives the Increase

Theme: When God Gives the Increase Scripture:“I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.” — 1 Corinthians 3:6 (KJV)

As an author, you sow seeds with every word you write. Some days it feels like planting — laying down truths, testimonies, and encouragement. Other days it feels like watering — revising, editing, refining, and nurturing what God has already placed in your spirit.

But the growth? That belongs to God.

You may never fully see the impact of your writing. You may never meet the person whose heart was healed, whose faith was strengthened, or whose life was changed by a sentence you almost didn’t write. But heaven sees every seed. Heaven records every offering.

Your job is obedience. God’s job is increase. You write in faith, and He multiplies the fruit.

So don’t let discouragement keep you from your calling. Even when the progress feels slow, even when you wonder if your words matter, even when doubt creeps in — remember that God Himself breathes on your work. He takes what you offer and turns it into something far greater than you could create on your own.

Reflection Prayer:

Lord, thank You for reminding me that the results are in Your hands. Help me to write faithfully, trusting that You will bring the increase. Let every word I sow be used for Your glory and Your purpose. Strengthen my heart today, and bless the seeds I plant. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today’s Challenge: Write something today that feels like a seed — a small piece of truth, hope, or encouragement. Don’t worry about the results. Offer it to God, and let Him bring the increase.
