Theme: Faithful in the Small ThingsScripture:“He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much.” — Luke 16:10 (KJV)
As an author, it’s easy to overlook the small things — the sentence you wrote when you were tired, the short paragraph you posted even though you weren’t sure anyone would read it, the quiet idea scribbled in your notebook that no one else has seen yet.
But God sees it all.And in His kingdom, small faithfulness leads to great purpose.
Sometimes we think our writing has to be big, polished, or widely recognized to matter. But God delights in your steady obedience — the faithful choice to show up, to write, to create, to share. Every small act of faith is a seed, and heaven keeps careful track of each one.
Being faithful in the “least” means honoring God with your words even when:• inspiration is low,• encouragement is scarce,• or progress feels slow.
It means trusting that God is building something beautiful through your consistency. The quiet chapters you write today may become someone’s lifeline tomorrow. The devotion you wrote in a moment of weakness may uplift someone in their moment of need.
God never wastes your faithfulness. Not one page. Not one prayer. Not one line.
Reflection Prayer:
Lord, help me to be faithful in the small things. Remind me that every word I write in obedience matters to You. Strengthen my spirit, steady my hand, and let my writing reflect a heart that is faithful, grateful, and surrendered to Your purpose. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Today’s Challenge:Write something small today — a sentence, a prayer, a reflection — and offer it to God. Let it be your faithful step, trusting Him with the increase.
