✍️ Author Devotional – November 18, 2025

Theme: Strength for the Next WordScripture:“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength…” — Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)

Every writer faces moments when the words slow down, inspiration flickers, or motivation feels thin. It’s in these quiet, stretching seasons that God gently reminds you to wait on Him. Not to stop writing — but to pause long enough to let Him breathe fresh strength into you.

Waiting on the Lord doesn’t mean inactivity. It means positioning your heart to receive. It means acknowledging that you cannot pour from an empty place. It means letting God renew what life and effort have drained.

When you wait in His presence, He restores clarity, peace, and creative vision. He reminds you why you began writing in the first place — not for applause, but for obedience. Not for speed, but for purpose. Not for recognition, but for impact.

And here’s the beautiful truth:When your strength runs out, His begins. When your ideas feel scattered, His wisdom settles them. When your heart feels weary, His presence revives it.

God doesn’t just give you strength to write — He renews it daily. One word, one line, one paragraph at a time.

Reflection Prayer:

Lord, renew my strength today. Lift the heaviness, the pressure, and the worry from my heart. Fill me with fresh creativity and peace as I write. Help me wait on You with trust, knowing You will renew every part of me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today’s Challenge:Before writing, sit quietly for two minutes. Breathe deeply. Whisper, “Lord, renew my strength.”Then begin writing — not hurried, not pressured — but renewed.
