Trust the Process Scripture: “Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.” — Proverbs 16:3 (KJV)
Writing can feel like a journey through uncharted territory. Some days the words flow effortlessly, and others they seem locked away behind invisible walls. But as Christian authors, we are not writing aimlessly — we are writing with purpose. Every idea, every pause, and every revision is part of the divine process that God uses to shape not only your message but also your heart.
When you surrender your writing to the Lord, you’re no longer striving alone. You are partnering with the Creator Himself — the One who spoke the universe into existence. He knows the message He wants to speak through you and the perfect timing for it to be shared.
Sometimes, the waiting seasons are where your most meaningful insights are born. Other times, the hardest rewrites produce the deepest truth. Trust Him through it all. God is not just helping you write words — He’s building faith, patience, and perseverance within you.
Remember: the process isn’t wasted when it’s committed to the Lord.
Reflection Prayer:
Father, I give You my writing today — every idea, every word, every moment of uncertainty. Establish my thoughts and guide my hand. Let everything I write reflect Your truth and glorify Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Today’s Challenge: Before you write, take a moment to pray and dedicate your work to God. Write these words somewhere visible: “This belongs to the Lord.” Let that reminder fill your heart with peace as you create today.
