✍️ Author Encouragement Devotional – January 5, 2026

Theme: You Are Not Behind — You Are Being Led Scripture: “The Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought.” — Isaiah 58:11 (KJV)

By now, the excitement of a new year may be quieter. The goals you set might feel bigger than your energy. The page may not look the way you imagined it would by Day Five. But today, God speaks encouragement straight to your heart:

You are not behind.

God does not measure your progress by word count, chapters finished, or deadlines met. He measures faithfulness. He measures trust. He measures the quiet courage it takes to keep showing up, even when the journey feels slower than expected.

If today feels dry, God promises to satisfy your soul.If today feels uncertain, God promises to guide you continually.If today feels small, God reminds you that small steps still move forward.

You don’t need to rush to prove anything. You don’t need to compare your pace to anyone else’s. God is leading you — personally, intentionally, lovingly. And every time you sit down to write, even with doubts or weariness, you are walking in obedience.

Let this encouragement settle in your spirit:✨ God sees your effort✨ God honors your willingness✨ God is guiding you, even now

Keep going — gently, faithfully, and without fear.

Encouragement Prayer:

Lord, thank You for guiding me day by day. When I feel unsure or discouraged, remind me that You are leading me continually. Strengthen my heart, renew my hope, and help me trust You with every step of my writing journey. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
