✍️ Author’s Daily Devotional – October 4, 2025 Writing with Eternal Purpose

Theme: Writing with Eternal Purpose Title: Words That Last Scripture:“ The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.”—Isaiah 40:8 (KJV)

Devotional: As authors, we pour time and heart into our words. Books may fade, pages may crumble, and trends may pass—but when our writing is anchored in God’s Word, it carries eternal weight.

God’s truth outlasts every generation. When you weave Scripture, faith, and His Spirit into your words, you’re not just writing stories—you’re planting seeds that will endure. Even if your book reaches only a few, the truth within it can echo for years in ways you may never see.

Your calling as an author is not just to entertain but to point people to the Word that never fades. Your writing is a vessel; His Word is the anchor.

So today, remember: you are partnering with eternity. Every Spirit-led sentence carries power beyond your pen.

Reflection Prompt: How can you anchor your writing more deeply in God’s Word so that it has lasting impact?

Prayer: Lord, thank You that Your Word endures forever. Help me to root my writing in Your truth so that it will carry eternal purpose. Let my words be more than ink on a page—let them be a light that points others to You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
