š„©š„ Campfire Cowboy Steak & Harvest Vegetable Foil PacksĀ š„š½
Good morning, folks! š¤ š
It's Saturday, so let's take supper outside to the grill!Ā Today's recipe is perfect for the backyard, campground, or even the oven.
We're loading foil packets with tender steak bites, baby potatoes, corn, mushrooms, onions, and peppers, then covering everything in a smoky garlic-herb cowboy butter. Each person gets their own little packet filled with a complete mealāand cleanup couldn't be easier!

Ingredients
2 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1½-inch chunks
1½ lbs baby potatoes, quartered
2 ears fresh corn, cut into rounds or kernels removed
8 oz baby bella mushrooms, halved
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 medium sweet onion, cut into chunks
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and black pepper to taste
Heavy-duty aluminum foil
š§ Smoky Cowboy Butter
6 tablespoons butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon dried parsley
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon dried thyme
¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes, optional
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley for finishing
š„ Let's Get Cooking!
1ļøā£ Give those potatoes a head start.Ā Boil the quartered potatoes for about 7ā8 minutes, then drain. They should be starting to soften but not completely cooked.
2ļøā£ Make the cowboy butter.Ā Mix the melted butter with garlic, Worcestershire, smoked paprika, parsley, onion powder, thyme, and optional pepper flakes.
3ļøā£ Load those packets!Ā Tear off four large pieces of heavy-duty foil. Divide the steak, potatoes, corn, mushrooms, peppers, and onions among them.
Season with salt and pepper, then spoon that cowboy butter generously over everything.
4ļøā£ Seal 'em up.Ā Bring the foil edges together and fold tightly, leaving a little room inside for steam.
5ļøā£ Fire up the grill! š„Ā Cook over medium-high heat for approximately 12ā18 minutes, carefully turning the packets once. Cooking time varies with steak size and desired doneness.
For the oven, place the packets on a baking sheet and bake at 425°F for about 20ā25 minutes.
6ļøā£ Open carefully!Ā Those packets will be full of hot steam. Open them away from your face and hands.
Finish with fresh parsley and another little spoonful of cowboy butter if you'd like. š
š MawMaw's Campfire Secret
The secret to a great foil-pack dinner is making sure everything finishes at about the same time.
That's why we're giving those potatoes a head start!
And cut your steak into larger chunksĀ so it doesn't become overcooked while the vegetables finish.
For even more flavor, sprinkle a little shredded cheddar over the hot packet just before serving. š§

š Saturday Chuckwagon Encouragement
Some of life's sweetest memories don't happen during expensive vacations or perfectly planned occasions.
They happen around a backyard grill.
Around a campfire.
Around an old picnic table.
They happen when somebody tells a story we've heard a hundred times and everybody still laughs. ā¤ļø
Today, don't worry about making everything perfect.
Make memories instead.
Take the picture. Sit a little longer. Invite someone to pull up another chair. Thank God for the people around you.
One day, these ordinary Saturdays may be the days you wish you could visit again.
š Scripture for Today
"This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it."
ā Psalm 118:24 (KJV)
