Good morning, ! 🤠Today’s chuckwagon favorite brings a little Tex-Mex flair to the trail—bold, zesty flavors all wrapped up in a hearty, one-pan meal!

This dish is packed with seasoned beef, tender rice, beans, and melty cheese—simple, filling, and perfect for a busy day.


🌶️🥩🍚 Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 tablespoon oil or bacon grease

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup uncooked rice

  • 2 cups beef broth

  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained

  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes (with juice)

  • 1 packet taco seasoning

  • ½ teaspoon cumin

  • ½ teaspoon paprika

  • 1 cup shredded cheese

  • Optional: sour cream, green onions, or jalapeños

🔥 Chuckwagon Cooking Instructions

1️⃣ Heat a large cast iron skillet over medium heat.
