Good morning, folks! 🤠Today we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave so much for our freedom. 🇺🇸

This Memorial Day chuckwagon favorite is a slow-cooked, smoky BBQ brisket piled high on toasted buns—perfect for backyard gatherings, cookouts, and sharing time with family and friends.


🥩🍔Ingredients

  • 3 lbs beef brisket

  • 1 tablespoon oil

  • 1 small onion, sliced

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 cups BBQ sauce

  • 1 cup beef broth

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • Hamburger buns

Optional toppings:

  • Pickles

  • Coleslaw

  • Crispy onions

🔥 Chuckwagon Cooking Instructions

1️⃣ Heat oil in a Dutch oven or slow cooker.

2️⃣ Season brisket with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.

3️⃣ Sear brisket on both sides until browned.

4️⃣ Add onions, garlic, BBQ sauce, and beef broth.

5️⃣ Cover and cook low and slow for 6–8 hours until brisket is tender and easy to shred.

6️⃣ Shred or slice brisket and pile onto toasted buns.
