đ Christmas Craft Countdown â Day 7
Craft: âStar of Bethlehem Light-Up Ornamentâ ââ¨
Theme:Â Following the Light that leads us to Jesus
â What Youâll Need:
1 clear plastic or glass ornament
Gold or silver glitter
Mini LED light (battery-operated)
Gold cardstock or craft foam (for the star)
Clear-drying glue or Mod Podge
Ribbon or twine
Optional:
Tiny angel or manger charm
A small tag with scripture
đ Directions:
Create the Sparkle:Brush glue on the inside bottom of the ornament and sprinkle in gold or silver glitter. Rotate gently to coat the lower portion with a starry shimmer.
Add Light:Place a tiny LED light inside so the ornament glows from within.
Make the Star:Cut a Star of Bethlehem shape from gold cardstock or craft foam and glue it to the outside front of the ornament.You can also layer two stars for a 3D effect.
Add Scripture (Optional):Tie a small tag around the top with a verse such as:Matthew 2:2 (KJV)Â â âWe have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.â
Finish & Hang:Add ribbon or twine to the top and hang it on your tree or give it as a beautiful faith-filled gift.
