God Is Faithful Even When We Are Not
Trusting God’s Unchanging Character
“Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy…”— Deuteronomy 7:9 (KJV)
Reflection: One of the most comforting truths in Scripture is this: God’s faithfulness does not depend on ours.We are human. We forget. We falter. We grow weary. Yet God remains steadfast—unchanging in His love, unwavering in His promises.
Throughout Scripture, God continues to keep covenant with His people, even when they stumble. His mercy is not fragile. His commitment is not temporary. His faithfulness is rooted in who He is—not in how well we perform.
As we continue this journey through 2026, there will be days when our faith feels strong and days when it feels small. On both kinds of days, God remains faithful. He walks with us patiently, teaches us gently, and restores us lovingly.
When you feel discouraged by your own shortcomings, remember this:✨ God is not surprised by your weakness.✨ He is not discouraged by your growth process.✨ He is faithful to complete what He has begun in you.
Let today be a reminder to rest in God’s character rather than striving in your own strength.
Meditation:Take a quiet moment and reflect:Where have I seen God’s faithfulness in my life—even when I struggled?Thank Him for His steady presence.
Prayer:Father, thank You for being a faithful God. Thank You for keeping Your promises even when I fall short. Help me trust You more deeply and walk confidently knowing Your mercy and love never fail. Strengthen my faith and draw me closer to You today. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 💜
