The God Who Goes Before You Scripture: āThe Lord, He it is that doth go before thee; He will be with thee, He will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.āĀ ā Deuteronomy 31:8 (KJV)
There are seasons in life when we face the unknown ā a new chapter, a difficult choice, or an unexpected storm. In those moments, fear tries to take the pen and write the ending before God even finishes the story. But todayās verse reminds us of a beautiful truth: you never walk into any situation first ā God does.
Before you step into tomorrow, God has already gone ahead. Before the problem appeared, He already made provision. Before the enemy plotted, God already had the victory written in His plan.
When we remember that the Almighty walks before us, peace begins to replace fear. You donāt have to know how everything will work out ā you just need to know WhoĀ is walking before you, beside you, and behind you.
So take a deep breath. The same God who led Moses through the wilderness and Joshua into the Promised Land is leading you today. You may not see the whole path, but you can trust the One who lights the next step.
Reflection Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for always going before me. Help me to trust Your timing, Your leading, and Your protection. When I feel uncertain, remind me that You have already made the way. Strengthen my faith to follow wherever You lead. In Jesusā name, Amen.
Todayās Reflection: Write down one situation youāve been worried about, and beside it, write this truth: āGod has already gone before me in this.āĀ Let that reminder bring you peace today.
