“Cast all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”—1 Peter 5:7 (KJV)

Life has a way of piling burdens on our shoulders—grief, worry, doubt, and fear can weigh so heavily that we forget we were never meant to carry it all alone. But God’s Word gives us a simple, powerful invitation: Cast all your care upon Him.

To “cast” means to throw, to release, to let go completely. God doesn’t ask us to manage our pain—He asks us to hand it over. Every anxious thought, every broken piece, every silent tear—He wants it all. Why? Because He cares for you.

His care is not distant or conditional. It’s personal, constant, and full of compassion. When you give Him your burdens, He replaces them with peace. When you give Him your fears, He fills you with courage. When you give Him your sorrow, He begins to weave healing through your heart.

Today, don’t carry what was never yours to bear. Lay it all at His feet and rest in His loving care.
