Theme: A New Day, A Fresh Start

Scripture (KJV):“This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” – Psalm 118:24

Reflection: Happy Monday, friends! 🌸 A brand-new week means a brand-new opportunity to see God move in your life. Mondays can sometimes feel heavy—our to-do lists are long, our minds are racing, and the weekend peace fades fast. But before the busyness of the day takes over, let’s pause and remember: this day is a gift straight from the Lord’s hand.

No matter what last week looked like—successes, failures, frustrations, or heartaches—today begins with mercy renewed. God’s Word reminds us that His compassions “are new every morning” (Lamentations 3:22–23). That means you don’t have to carry yesterday’s burdens into today. Lay them down, breathe in His peace, and start fresh.

When we choose gratitude and joy at the start of our day, we shift our focus from what’s wrong to Who is right—God. He is still on the throne, still in control, and still working all things together for your good.

So as you begin this new week, lift your head, smile, and thank God for another day to live, love, and make a difference. You were chosen for this very moment in time.

Devotional Thought: Every sunrise is an invitation to trust God again. Today is His day—walk in it with joy and expectation!

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for this new day that You have made. Help me to face this Monday with gratitude and confidence in You. Fill my heart with joy, my mind with peace, and my steps with purpose. Let everything I do today bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
