🌿 February 16 Grief Support Devotional: ā€œYou Are Not Aloneā€

ā€œYou Are Not Aloneā€ ā€œFear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help theeā€¦ā€ā€” Isaiah 41:10 (KJV)

Grief can feel isolating.

Even when you are surrounded by people, there can be moments when you feel like no one truly understands the depth of your loss. The ache can feel personal, private, and heavy in ways that words struggle to express.

But today, let this truth settle gently into your heart:

You are not alone.

God is with you—steady, present, and compassionate. He does not watch your pain from a distance. He steps into it with you. He strengthens you when you feel weak and helps you when the weight feels too much to carry.

And you are not alone in this community either.

Every person in this grief support group carries their own story of love and loss. Different circumstances, different details—but the same deep understanding of what it means to miss someone dearly.

Together, we remind one another:It’s okay to grieve. It’s okay to remember. It’s okay to hope again.

God uses community as part of healing. Sometimes hope grows not in isolation, but in shared stories, shared tears, and shared prayers.

If you feel alone today, take one small step—reach out, speak, write, pray. Let someone sit with you. Let God hold you.

You are not forgotten. You are not overlooked. You are not alone.

šŸ¤ Prayer

Lord,When grief makes me feel alone, remind me that You are near. Strengthen me, help me, and surround me with people who understand. Thank You for walking beside me and for the gift of community in this journey of healing. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
