🌿 February 6 Grief Support Devotional: ā€œHope Can Be Gentleā€

ā€œHope Can Be Gentleā€ā€œA bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench.ā€ā€” Isaiah 42:3 (KJV)

Hope after loss doesn’t always look bright or bold. Sometimes it’s quiet—barely noticeable, tender, and fragile.

And that’s okay.

God handles fragile hope with care. He does not rush it, demand more of it, or extinguish what feels small. He protects it.

Hope can look like getting through the day.Hope can look like breathing through a memory.Hope can look like trusting God with one more moment.

Even the smallest spark matters to Him.

Today, don’t measure hope by how strong it feels. Let it be gentle. Let it grow slowly. God is guarding it, just as He is guarding your heart.

šŸ¤ Prayer

Lord,Thank You for being gentle with my heart and my hope. When hope feels small, help me trust that You are protecting and growing it. Hold me close today and give me peace. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
