☕ Food for Thought: DON'T COMPROMISE—STAY FAITHFUL ❤️

Good morning, family and friends!

As I sit here this morning with my coffee and God's Word, I want to share a story that has stayed with me.

There was a minister and church in Ohio that made a decision:

THEY WOULD NOT COMPROMISE GOD'S WORD.

They were going to preach the Bible and stand on what it said—even if standing became lonely.

And for a season, it certainly did.

The church dwindled until there were basically two people left—the pastor and his wife.

Can you imagine?

Sunday after Sunday, continuing to pray, preach, believe, and remain faithful when hardly anyone was there.

It would have been easy to say:

“This isn't working.”

It would have been easy to change the message to attract people.

It would have been easy to quit.

BUT THEY STAYED FAITHFUL.

And eventually, things began to change.

People started coming.

The church began growing.

And then it really began growing.

God blessed that ministry mightily.

Now here's what struck me this morning:

THEY WERE FAITHFUL BEFORE THE CHURCH GREW.

Their faithfulness wasn't proven when the building was filling up.

It was proven when almost nobody was there.

Y'all, sometimes we look at numbers and think numbers determine whether God is blessing something.

They don't.

Paul experienced something similar.

He would preach and people would receive Jesus—and then somewhere else he would be rejected, mocked, threatened, or forced to leave.

Did rejection mean Paul had failed?

NO.

Paul's responsibility was obedience.

The results belonged to God.

The Bible says:

“Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.” — 1 Corinthians 4:2 KJV

Notice it doesn't say:

Be found popular.

Be found successful by the world's standards.

Have the biggest church.

Have the most followers.

It says:

BE FOUND FAITHFUL.

Maybe you're doing something God placed on your heart and you're wondering whether it's making a difference.

Maybe you're praying for somebody and nothing seems to be changing.

Maybe you're serving and nobody notices.

Maybe your ministry isn't growing as quickly as you hoped.

Maybe you're standing on God's Word and people are walking away because you refuse to compromise.

KEEP STANDING.

Don't change God's Word to increase the numbers.

Don't compromise your convictions to gain acceptance.

And don't assume a difficult season means you're outside God's will.

Sometimes faithfulness looks like preaching to a packed church.

And sometimes faithfulness looks like a pastor standing behind the pulpit with almost nobody sitting in the pews.

GOD SEES BOTH. ❤️

🙏 Lord, help me remain faithful whether people applaud me or walk away. Keep me from measuring obedience by numbers or popularity. Give me courage to stand on Your Word without compromise, while always speaking Your truth with love. When I become discouraged because I cannot see results, remind me that my responsibility is obedience and the results belong to You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

❤️ Food for Thought:

DON'T QUIT JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE IN A “TWO-PEOPLE-IN-THE-PEWS” SEASON.

You don't know what God is preparing.

Stay faithful.Keep praying.Keep serving.Keep standing on God's Word.

God isn't asking you to manufacture the results.

HE'S ASKING YOU TO BE FAITHFUL. ❤️
