❤️ Food for Thought: HAVE YOU ACCEPTED YOUR INVITATION?
Good Monday morning, family and friends! ☕❤️
As I was enjoying my morning coffee, I came across something on a friend's Facebook page that really touched my heart. I wanted to share the message with y'all because there is such an important reminder in it!
Imagine receiving an invitation to a beautiful wedding.
You're invited, but you forget to RSVP.
When the wedding day arrives, you decide to go anyway. You put on your nicest clothes, fix your hair, and make sure you look your very best.
Surely they'll let you in! After all, you received an invitation.
But when you arrive at the beautiful estate, the person at the gate checks the guest list.
YOUR NAME ISN'T THERE.
You explain that you were invited, but you never responded.
And now the doors are closed.
Y'all, that really made me think about HEAVEN!
God has extended an invitation to each of us through His Son, Jesus Christ.
But here's what we need to understand:
JUST KNOWING ABOUT JESUS ISN'T THE SAME AS KNOWING JESUS!
We can dress up, attend church, do good deeds, and look like we have everything together.
But none of those things can save us.
The Bible says:
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” — Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV
Y'all, you don't have to clean yourself up before coming to Jesus!
COME TO HIM JUST AS YOU ARE, AND LET HIM CHANGE YOUR LIFE!
Jesus said:
“I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” — John 14:6 KJV
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: NONE OF US ARE PROMISED TOMORROW.
Please don't keep putting off the most important decision you'll ever make.
God loves you. Jesus died for you. And salvation is offered through Him.
I'm so thankful for His mercy and grace!
🙏 Heavenly Father, thank You for loving us enough to send Your Son to die for our sins. I pray for anyone reading this who hasn't accepted Jesus as their Savior. Help them understand that they don't have to be perfect to come to You. Open their hearts to Your love, mercy, and forgiveness. And help those of us who know You to live faithfully and share the wonderful news of salvation. In Jesus' name, Amen. ❤️

Don't wait until you think you're good enough.
Don't wait until you've fixed everything in your life.
COME TO JESUS TODAY!
Because heaven isn't about how good we look on the outside.
IT'S ABOUT WHETHER WE BELONG TO JESUS CHRIST! ❤️
I didn't write the original wedding illustration, but I'm thankful my friend shared it. It certainly spoke to my heart this morning, and I pray it touches someone else's too.
