Hope in Jesus
There’s something deeply comforting about knowing that our hope doesn’t rest in the changing winds of this world, but in the unshakable truth of Jesus Christ. No matter the storm, no matter the struggle—we have hope because we have Him.
The world will offer temporary comforts, quick fixes, and distractions. But none of it satisfies. True, everlasting hope is found only in Jesus—the One who conquered death, the One who loves us without condition, the One who holds our future in His hands.
**Romans 15:13 (KJV)** says, *“Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.”*
That’s the kind of hope we need today—not just to get by, but to *abound.*
If your heart is weary, lift your eyes to Heaven. If you’re feeling defeated, whisper the name of Jesus. He is our hope. He is our peace. He is the anchor that holds.
**Fun Faith Fact for April 22, 2025:**
Today in Christian history, we remember the birth of Hudson Taylor (1832), a missionary to China whose hope in Jesus led him to found the China Inland Mission. His life reminds us that bold hope in Christ can transform lives across the world.
**National Holiday:**
Today is Earth Day! What a perfect time to reflect on the beauty of God’s creation. As stewards of this world, we are reminded that *“The earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.”* — Psalm 24:1 (KJV)
**Encouragement:**
Take a walk in nature today. Breathe deeply. Soak in the beauty around you and thank the Lord for His glorious works. Let His creation stir up your hope!
**Prayer:**
Jesus, You are our living hope. Fill our hearts with Your joy and peace today. Remind us that no matter what comes, You are with us. Let our lives overflow with hope through the power of Your Holy Spirit. Amen.
