Grief Support Devotional: ā€œYou Are Allowed to Rememberā€

Scripture:

ā€œThe memory of the just is blessedā€¦ā€ā€” Proverbs 10:7 (KJV)

Sometimes grief comes with pressure—to stop talking, stop remembering, stop feeling so deeply. But God never asks you to forget.

Remembering is not a weakness. It is love.

Memories are blessings—proof that a life mattered, that love was real, that connection remains. God honors remembrance. He meets you there, holding memories with tenderness.

Today, allow yourself to remember without guilt. Speak their name. Hold the stories. Let love live on.

šŸ’› Prayer:

Lord,Thank You for the memories I carry. Help me remember with peace instead of fear and trust that love continues to live in my heart. Walk with me through remembering today. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
