Strength for the Weary

**Title: Strength for the Weary**

**Scripture:**

"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." – Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)

**Devotional Thought:**

We all face days when weariness tries to settle into our hearts. Life can feel heavy, responsibilities can pile up, and our energy feels drained. But God gives us a beautiful promise — when we wait on Him, He will renew our strength.

Waiting doesn’t mean doing nothing. It means trusting Him in the stillness, resting in His presence, and leaning into His promises. God never grows tired or weary, and He offers His strength to those who depend on Him.

Take heart today. Your strength is not in your own ability but in His everlasting power. You are not alone, and you are not forgotten.

**Prayer:**

Father, I feel tired and worn today, but I know You are my source of strength. Fill me with Your power. Help me to rest in You and trust that You will renew me. Thank You for being faithful. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

**Encouragement for Today:**

If you are feeling weary today, pause, pray, and rest. God’s strength is made perfect in your weakness.
