Day 23 – The Stone Was Rolled Away Easter Devotional Countdown
“And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.”—Luke 24:2 (KJV)
The stone wasn’t rolled away so Jesus could get out—it was rolled away so we could see in. So we could witness the miracle. So we would know that death had lost and Jesus had won.
So many of us carry stones in our hearts: fear, regret, shame, grief. But the same power that rolled away the stone from Jesus’ tomb can roll away the burdens from your soul. Resurrection power is still alive today!
Reflection:What heavy stone have you been carrying? Today, invite Jesus to roll it away. Trust that what feels like the end might just be the beginning of a miracle.
Prayer:Lord, roll away the stones in my life—stones of doubt, pain, and fear. Help me walk boldly into the light of Your resurrection. Thank You for victory over death and over every burden I face. Amen.
