šŸ” FREE HOUSEKEEPING, DECLUTTERING & HOME ORGANIZATION RESOURCES!

September 30, 2026

šŸ‚ A Cleaner Home • Less Clutter • More Peace

Good morning, friends, and Happy Wednesday! ā˜•šŸ

Can you believe we're already saying goodbye to September?

With fall arriving and the holidays just around the corner, I thought this would be the perfect time to share some wonderful FREE resources to help us get our homes organized!

Now, I don't know about y'all, but sometimes I look around and wonder how we managed to accumulate so much STUFF! šŸ˜‚

Between work, family, everyday responsibilities, and everything else life throws our way, keeping a home organized can become overwhelming.

But here's the good news!

You don't have to hire an expensive professional organizer or purchase fancy storage systems to make a difference.

There are FREE videos, printable checklists, tutorials, and educational resources available to help us!

šŸ“š 5. YOUR LOCAL LIBRARY

Here's a FREE resource we talk about often because it's so valuable!

Libraries may provide:

šŸ“– Home organization books🧺 Housekeeping guidesšŸ’» Online learning opportunitiesšŸ“‹ Printable resources🧵 Household skills workshopsšŸ” Home improvement books

Some libraries also offer free community workshops, so ask what's available.

šŸ 6. FREE SEASONAL CLEANING CHECKLISTS

Instead of trying to clean your entire house in one day, divide the work into manageable sections.

Monday:Ā Kitchen and refrigeratorTuesday:Ā BathroomsWednesday:Ā Bedrooms and closetsThursday:Ā Living room and common areasFriday:Ā Laundry and paperworkSaturday:Ā One decluttering projectSunday:Ā Rest, worship, and family time ā¤ļø

Adjust this schedule to fit your own household. Even 15 minutes can make a difference!

ā™»ļø 7. ORGANIZE WITHOUT SPENDING MONEY

Before purchasing expensive storage containers, look around your home.

You might already have:

šŸ“¦ ShoeboxesšŸ«™ Clean jars🧺 Extra basketsšŸ—‚ļø FoldersšŸŽ Reusable gift boxesšŸ“š Unused shelves

Sometimes the answer isn't buying more storage.

Sometimes it's simply learning to live with less clutter!

⭐ SARAH'S FREE RESOURCE PICK OF THE WEEK

šŸ’œ Clutterbug and A Slob Comes Clean

Both offer free educational videos and practical organizing advice.

You can learn at your own pace, try different techniques, and discover what works best for YOUR home.

Remember, a home doesn't have to look like something out of a magazine to be filled with love, joy, and peace.

šŸ‚ THIS WEEK'S CHALLENGE

I want to challenge everyone to spend just 15 MINUTES decluttering ONE AREAĀ of your home.

Maybe it's:

āœ”ļø One kitchen drawerāœ”ļø A bathroom cabinetāœ”ļø Your purseāœ”ļø A closet shelfāœ”ļø The refrigeratorāœ”ļø Your deskāœ”ļø That junk drawer we all seem to have! šŸ˜‚

Find things to keep, donate, recycle, or throw away.

And if you find something someone else could use, consider blessing them with it.

Sometimes what we no longer need can become a blessing to someone else.

šŸ“– SCRIPTURE FOR THE WEEK

"Let all things be done decently and in order." — 1 Corinthians 14:40 (KJV)

Although Paul was speaking about order in the church, the verse also reminds me of the value of approaching our responsibilities thoughtfully.

And here's something else I want to share:

Don't become so focused on having a perfect house that you forget to enjoy the people living in it.

Our homes are meant to be lived in, filled with laughter, shared meals, memories, and love.

A little organization can make everyday life easier, but the people inside our homes will always matter more than spotless countertops.

šŸ’¬ LET'S HELP EACH OTHER!
