“Peace in the Storm Snow Jar” 🌨️🕊️✨

Theme:Learning to rest in God’s peace—even when life feels unsettled.

This craft is soothing, symbolic, and wonderful for both adults and children.

❤️ What You’ll Need:

  • Clear jar with lid (mason jar or recycled jar)

  • Water

  • White glitter or faux snow

  • A drop of glycerin or clear glue (optional, slows the “snow”)

  • Small waterproof word strip or sticker (Peace / Be Still / Trust God)

  • Hot glue or strong adhesive

Optional:

  • Blue food coloring (1 tiny drop)

  • LED tealight (for underneath the jar)

  • Ribbon or twine

Directions:

1. Add the Message

Place a small waterproof word strip or sticker inside the jar that says:

  • Peace

  • Be Still

  • God Is With Me

Secure it to the inside of the jar using glue.

2. Fill the Jar

Fill the jar almost to the top with water.Add:

  • A pinch of glitter or faux snow

  • A drop of glycerin or glue (optional)

Optional: Add one tiny drop of blue coloring for a soft winter tone.

3. Seal the Jar

Glue the lid tightly shut to prevent leaks.

4. Shake & Watch

Shake the jar and watch the “storm” swirl — then slowly settle.

5. Use for Reflection

Whenever life feels overwhelming:

  • Shake the jar

  • Watch it settle

  • Take a deep breath

  • Say a quiet prayer

✝️ Faith Reflection:

Mark 4:39 (KJV)“Peace, be still.”

Just as the snow settles, God brings peace to our hearts when we trust Him.
