“Peace in the Storm Snow Jar” 🌨️🕊️✨
Theme:Learning to rest in God’s peace—even when life feels unsettled.
This craft is soothing, symbolic, and wonderful for both adults and children.
❤️ What You’ll Need:
Clear jar with lid (mason jar or recycled jar)
Water
White glitter or faux snow
A drop of glycerin or clear glue (optional, slows the “snow”)
Small waterproof word strip or sticker (Peace / Be Still / Trust God)
Hot glue or strong adhesive
Optional:
Blue food coloring (1 tiny drop)
LED tealight (for underneath the jar)
Ribbon or twine
✨ Directions:
1. Add the Message
Place a small waterproof word strip or sticker inside the jar that says:
Peace
Be Still
God Is With Me
Secure it to the inside of the jar using glue.
2. Fill the Jar
Fill the jar almost to the top with water.Add:
A pinch of glitter or faux snow
A drop of glycerin or glue (optional)
Optional: Add one tiny drop of blue coloring for a soft winter tone.
3. Seal the Jar
Glue the lid tightly shut to prevent leaks.
4. Shake & Watch
Shake the jar and watch the “storm” swirl — then slowly settle.
5. Use for Reflection
Whenever life feels overwhelming:
Shake the jar
Watch it settle
Take a deep breath
Say a quiet prayer
✝️ Faith Reflection:
Mark 4:39 (KJV)“Peace, be still.”
Just as the snow settles, God brings peace to our hearts when we trust Him.
