A Made-Up Mind for Eternity

As I sit here this morning thinking about my to-do list, I can’t help but think about something deeper…

How many people didn’t wake up this morning?

How many stepped into eternity — some prepared… and some not?

Hell is real.Heaven is real.

And eternity is forever.

I pray daily:

“Lord, show me anything in my heart, my mind, my soul, and my spirit that is not pleasing to You. Remove it. Clean me. Make me ready.”

I believe with my whole heart that time on this earth is so very short. When I was a young Christian, I used to hear it preached often:

“You better get ready. Eternity is forever.”

For a season, I drifted from God. But oh, I am so thankful for His mercy. He spared my life more times than I can count until I finally got a made-up mind.

I am not perfect.I am a sinner saved by grace.

And none of us are promised tomorrow.

📖 The Word of God Says:

James 4:14 (KJV)

“Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.”

Life is but a vapor.

📖 We All Need Salvation

Romans 3:23 (KJV)

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”

Romans 6:23 (KJV)

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Salvation is a gift. It cannot be earned. It is received.

📖 How to Be Saved

Romans 10:9–10 (KJV)

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Romans 10:13 (KJV)

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

It really is that simple — and that serious.

You must believe.You must confess.You must surrender.

📖 There Is Only One Way

John 14:6 (KJV)

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

Heaven is real.

Revelation describes streets of gold and gates of pearl:

“And the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.”

And most of all… Jesus is there.

I want to see my Savior face to face.I want to see the beautiful souls who have already gone on before me.

But more than that — I want YOU there too.

Today is the day to get a made-up mind.

Don’t wait.Don’t drift.Don’t gamble with eternity.

If you’ve never asked Jesus into your heart, you can pray something like this:

“Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for me and rose again. Forgive me. Come into my heart. Be my Lord and Savior. I surrender my life to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

If you prayed that and meant it — the Word says you are saved.

Eternity is forever.Choose wisely.

Because life is but a vapor.
