🌿 Thursday, April 2, 2026✨ Keep Showing Up ✨

📖 Scripture (KJV)

Psalm 126:5–6“They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing…”

Galatians 6:9“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

Colossians 3:23“And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord…”

✍️ Devotional Thought

Some days in writing feel powerful.

Other days feel… ordinary.

You sit down. You write a little. You wonder if it’s enough.

You may not feel inspired. You may not see immediate progress. You may not even feel confident in what you wrote.

But God is not asking you for perfection.

He is asking you to keep showing up.

Psalm 126 paints a beautiful picture—of sowing seeds, even in tears.

That means even on the hard days…even when writing feels emotional…even when it feels like a struggle…

You are still planting something valuable.

Every word you write is a seed.

Some seeds you will see grow quickly.Others will take time.

But God promises a harvest.

Galatians reminds us not to grow weary.

Because the breakthrough is not always in the beginning…

It often comes after consistency.

After showing up again and again. After choosing obedience over feelings.

Colossians reminds us who we are really writing for.

Not for approval. Not for recognition. Not for perfection.

But for the Lord.

And when you write for Him…

Even your smallest effort carries purpose.

So today, don’t measure your progress by how much you wrote.

Measure it by your faithfulness.

Did you show up?Did you try?Did you take one step forward?

That is enough for today.

🌿 Thursday Reflection

Am I being too hard on myself in my writing journey?

What does “showing up” look like for me today?

How can I stay consistent, even on the hard days?

🙏 Prayer

Father,Thank You for walking with me in every step of this journey. Help me to stay faithful, even when I don’t feel inspired or confident. Give me strength to keep showing up and trusting You with the process. Let my writing be an act of obedience and worship to You.In Jesus’ name, Amen.

💜 Thursday Author Encouragement

Show up.Write anyway.Trust God with the rest.

Faithful steps lead to powerful outcomes. ✍️📖✨
