Don’t Quit Before the Breakthrough
📖 Scripture (KJV)
Galatians 6:9
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
Philippians 3:14
“I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
✍️ Devotional Thought
By Thursday, fatigue can whisper.
“You’ve done enough.”“You can slow down.”“You’ll finish next week.”
But breakthrough often comes right after the point of resistance.
Editing gets harder before it gets clearer.Rewriting feels messy before it feels polished.Momentum feels heavy before it feels powerful.
The enemy doesn’t mind you starting. He just hopes you stop.
But Scripture says:Don’t grow weary.Don’t faint.Don’t quit.
Because due season is coming.
The author who presses forward when tired…The writer who edits when it’s uncomfortable…The creator who keeps showing up…
That author finishes.
You may not see the harvest yet.You may not feel the reward yet.But every faithful word is seed in the ground.
Press toward the mark.
Not emotionally.Not dramatically.But steadily.
You are closer than you think.
🌿 Reflection
Where am I tempted to slow down?
What would finishing strong look like today?
Am I focused on discomfort… or the harvest?
🙏 Prayer
Father,Strengthen me when I grow tired. Help me not to faint in the middle of my assignment. Give me endurance to press forward and discipline to finish strong. Remind me that due season is coming. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
💜 Thursday Declaration
I will not grow weary.I will not quit.I will press forward. My due season is coming.
