Agape Love Blog – Friday, October 10, 2025Trusting God Through the Unknown

Good morning, beloved! 💜

As we close out another week, let’s take a moment to breathe and reflect on the peace that comes from trusting God completely. Life doesn’t always go as planned—doors close, detours appear, and sometimes the road ahead feels uncertain. But even when we can’t see the whole picture, we can rest in knowing that God already has the outcome in His hands.

✝️ Verse of the Day “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV)

When we trust in God fully, we don’t have to figure everything out. He goes before us, lights the way, and turns even our confusion into clarity in His perfect timing.

Faith begins where our understanding ends.

On This Day in History – October 10

  • 1845 – The U.S. Naval Academy opened in Annapolis, Maryland, built on discipline, strength, and guidance—qualities God instills in us.

  • 1973 – Vice President Spiro Agnew resigned, reminding us that integrity and truth matter.

  • 2010 – The 33 Chilean miners were rescued after 69 days underground, a powerful example of faith, perseverance, and hope in impossible circumstances.

National Days – October 10

  • World Mental Health Day – A reminder that God cares deeply about our minds and hearts. He offers rest for the weary and peace for the anxious.

  • National Angel Food Cake Day – A sweet celebration of the goodness and creativity in God’s world.

  • National Handbag Day – A fun reminder that we all carry things, but Jesus invites us to hand our burdens to Him.

Friday Reflection: The Beauty of Trust

Trust isn’t easy—it requires letting go of control and placing our full confidence in God’s goodness. But when we do, something beautiful happens: fear fades, faith grows, and peace takes root. Even when we don’t understand the “why,” we can trust the “Who.”

The more we trust God, the lighter our steps become.

Friday Prayer: Lord, thank You for being trustworthy and faithful. Even when I don’t understand what You’re doing, I know You are good. Help me to lean not on my own understanding but to walk in faith and peace. Direct my steps today and every day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today’s Challenge: Take one thing that’s been weighing on your mind and pray this simple prayer: “Lord, I trust You with this.” Then release it and let Him carry the load.

May your Friday be filled with peace, trust, and the quiet confidence that God is leading the way.

With peace and faith, Sarah M. Skaggs Agape Love Ministry “Trusting God doesn’t mean we have all the answers—it means we know the One who does.”
